Challenge guidelines –
When issuing a challenge you should:
- Contact the person you wish to challenge directly via Whatsapp, Text message or Phone call. When issuing the challenge you should offer at least 2 dates to play the challenge, should these dates not be compatible the challenged player should then offer 2 further dates when the challenge can take place. It is the intention that challenges should take place at the earliest convenience of both players within the 2 week window, if this is posing a problem please contact the rules committee. The likely outcome of being unable to arrange a date is that the challenging player will be given a walkover victory or a short extension may be given to play the match. In the event that a match has not been played in the 14 day window, then neither player will be able to make a challenge for the next 7 days
- Notify the club and other participants of the challenge by posting on the WhatsApp group.
- Update the Physical Ladder. If you are not at the club please call or message the club for someone to update the ladder
Following a challenge the Winner must:
- Notify staff of the result so that the online version of the ladder can be updated.
- Post the result on the WhatsApp group to notify other participants of the result.
